TRAINING COURSES AND WORKSHOPS

I have been training Reiki since 1996 and courses are run on a regular basis most months. Please see Course Schedule for course programme.   Course numbers are kept to a maximum of five people, so if you can get a group of a few people together who want to learn Reiki that often works really well. It is also possible to arrange dates for individuals or smaller groups. I look forward to meeting with you and teaching you this wonderful healing art.

It is important to realise that anyone can be attuned to Reiki giving them access to this energy for self use and for family and friends

For those working in the healthcare field, having access to the Reiki energy is a distinct benefit as an adjunct to and enhancing their existing skills.

Training courses take place in a dedicated space in Hempstead, near Saffron Walden and are run on weekdays. Lunch and refreshements are included for all courses.

Usui Reiki

Usui Reiki is divided into three degrees. 1st Degree is primarily for self-healing, although Reiki can be given directly to others as well. In the months following attunement there is often an improvement in the physical health of the person who has been attuned.

At 2nd Degree, which noticeably increases the flow of Reiki energy, keys are given which allow distance healing and a  more conscious use of Reiki energies for specific purposes.

With the 3rd Degree the flow of energy is further enhanced and the practitioner has the option of becoming a Master/Teacher themselves. 3rd Degree courses are generallly scheduled on demand and you do not have to have completed 1st or 2nd Degree with me to apply.

Karuna Reiki®

Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism, Buddism and Zen. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as “compassionate action”.

The Karuna system of Reiki was developed by William L. Rand of the International Center for Reiki Training. Some of the symbols used in Karuna Reiki® are used in other systems but they do not have the same effectiveness or healing energies as in the Karuna system.

Karuna Reiki® energy is different to Usui Reiki and in fact, most students find it more powerful than Usui Reiki. The energy has a more definite feeling to it and works on all the energy bodies at the same time.

In order to take the Karuna Reiki® course one must already be a Usui Reiki Master (Level 3) for a minimum of six months - although not necessarily a teacher.

The Karuna Reiki® training is a four day intensive course which includes all four levels of Karuna Reiki®. On completion you will become a registered Karuna Reiki Master with the International Center for Reiki Training and receive a seal and certificate issued by the I.C.R.T.

Reiki Workshops

These one day workshops are offered to all levels of Reiki practitioner and are an opportunity to spend time with like minded people. The day includes re-attunement to existing level, group treatments and meditation. The day is a chance to recharge your batteries as well as refresh your Reiki experience.

EFT

A two day course on the basics of EFT. This course is intended for people who want to use EFT for themselves, friends and family and gain a greater understanding of the what, how and why of this simple, yet very effective practice. It is not intended for those who want to become EFT therapists. If this is your plan then I can recommend a local EFT Trainer/Practitioner who teaches to practitioner level.
